Magnetola is a sensory-friendly music player, offering tracks in their original form or with a slight softening effect for delicate ears. The player is designed to resemble a vintage compact cassette player.

The softener filter in Magnetola has the ability to refine the sound of instruments, smoothing rough edges like drums or electric guitars, and moderating sudden intense moments in songs (imagine the start of Pink Floyd's The Wall).

Furthermore, the player includes sliders for adjusting high and low frequencies, known as shelving filters in technical terms. Users have the ability to enhance or diminish high and low tones according to personal preference—referred to as "silk" and "wool" settings, respectively.

By default, all sliders are in neutral positions upon initial use, preserving the original audio quality. Users can easily reset any slider to its default setting by double-tapping on it.
